Program Description:
The Academic Transfer program helps you earn an associate degree by completing up
to 61 semester hours of general education credit, or you can take speci昀椀c courses that
transfer to a four-year institution for your intended major.

SCC’s program is a perfect starting point, whether you plan to transfer just a few credits
or the equivalent of two full years to a four-year school.

save you time and money. Be sure to research colleges and universities for important
details—such as your intended major, prerequisite courses you can complete at SCC,
admission requirements, application deadlines, fees, enrollment deposits and more.
Degrees
The Associate of Arts degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year
college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in 昀椀elds such as business, education,
humanities, social science or social work.
The Associate of Science degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to a four-year
college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in 昀椀elds such as agriculture, computer
science, engineering, science or mathematics.
