The Birds of Nebraska: Through Our Lens
The Central Flyway is one of North America’s great bird
migration superhighways, stretching from South America to the
northern reaches of Canada. As it crosses the United States,
it follows the Great Plains—placing Nebraska at its heart and
making it a truly remarkable destination for birding.
Join us for a captivating visual journey through Nebraska and
the Central Flyway. Through striking photography and personal
storytelling, Gabriel and Jennifer Rivera will reveal how birding
and photography go beyond simply observing birds—they
uncover behavior, personality, and the intricate connections
between birds and their environments.
Engaging and accessible for all audiences, this presentation
highlights not only the beauty of bird life but also the powerful
ways humans connect with the natural world.
