Build confidence in organizing and protecting your digital
files. Learn how to navigate folder structures, manage files on
your hard drive, and use tools like OneDrive for storage and
access. We’ll cover essential skills such as creating, renaming,
moving, and restoring files, along with best practices for safely
using removable devices. You’ll also explore cloud storage vs.
backup, the 3-2-1 rule for data protection, and gain practical
insights about how the internet supports your digital life.
Enhance your everyday computer skills while learning how
to stay safe online. This class introduces key tools like email
basics, Excel, and the Quick Access Toolbar to improve
productivity. You’ll also explore features such as AutoCorrect,
Task View, and managing multiple desktops. In addition, we’ll
cover important privacy and security topics, including private
browsing, search engine controls, app permissions, and
ways to protect your personal information while navigating
the internet.
